Palm View Client Guarantees and Benefits

These terms govern Palm View Inspections' client guarantees, benefits, credits, and discounts. If a summary elsewhere on our website differs from the terms below, the terms below apply.

1. 1.Same-Day Report Guarantee

   Palm View guarantees delivery of qualifying inspection reports by 11:59 p.m. on the inspection date. If we miss this deadline, the client receives a $50 refund.

   Eligibility: Residential Home, New-Construction Final, and 11-Month Warranty Inspections that begin before 3:00 p.m. and are completed that day.

   Exceptions:

   1. The inspection cannot be completed because the property or necessary areas are inaccessible, unsafe, not ready for inspection, or essential utilities or systems are unavailable.
   2. Severe weather, power or internet outages, reporting-platform failures, or other circumstances beyond Palm View's reasonable control prevent report completion or delivery.
   3. The client and Palm View agree to a later report-delivery deadline before the original deadline.
   4. The inspection includes multiple residential structures or other property conditions identified before the inspection as requiring additional reporting time.
   5. The client cancels or ends the inspection before completion.

   The guarantee excludes ancillary services and reports with separate reporting requirements or third-party dependencies, including Four-Point, Wind Mitigation, WDO, laboratory testing, and Pre-Drywall inspections.

   A report is delivered when available through Palm View's reporting platform. The maximum refund is $50 per qualifying inspection.

2. 2.48-Hour Inspection Availability Guarantee

   Palm View guarantees an available appointment within 48 calendar hours after receiving the information needed to price and schedule a qualifying inspection. If we cannot offer one because of our availability, the client receives a $100 credit toward that inspection.

   Eligibility: Residential Home, New-Construction Final, 11-Month Warranty, and Pre-Drywall Inspections within Palm View's published service area, with no more than two add-on services.

   The guarantee is fulfilled when Palm View offers at least one qualifying appointment within the 48-hour period, whether or not the client accepts it.

   Exceptions:

   1. Missing or inaccurate property information that prevents accurate pricing or scheduling.
   2. Property-access restrictions or lack of permission to enter the property.
   3. Client, seller, occupant, agent, builder, or other party restrictions on acceptable inspection dates or times.
   4. Severe weather, evacuation orders, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond Palm View's reasonable control.
   5. Property size, complexity, or inspection requirements that require more time or special scheduling arrangements than a standard inspection.
   6. Federal holidays or previously scheduled Palm View closures, as defined below.
   7. More than two add-on or ancillary services requested with the qualifying inspection because of the additional inspection time and scheduling requirements.

   Scheduled closures and federal holidays. The 48-Hour Inspection Availability Guarantee does not apply when any portion of the 48-hour qualifying period falls on an observed federal holiday or during a pre-planned Palm View closure period. A pre-planned closure period must be established and reflected in Palm View's scheduling availability before the qualifying period begins. A closure period established after the qualifying period begins does not affect an otherwise applicable guarantee. Palm View may still offer inspections during or around excluded periods when availability permits, but such availability is not guaranteed.

   The credit is limited to $100 per qualifying inspection, has no cash value, and is not transferable.

3. 3.Repair Reinspection Benefit

   Clients who purchase a qualifying Residential Home, New-Construction Final, or 11-Month Warranty Inspection may request one focused reinspection of up to 10 repair items identified in the original report.

   The reinspection is free in Hillsborough County and just $25 in our other service-area counties to offset travel time and expenses.

   Requirements:

   1. Palm View performed the original Residential Home Inspection, New-Construction Final Inspection, or 11-Month Warranty Inspection.
   2. The reinspection covers no more than 10 items identified in the original inspection report and agreed upon for repair or correction.
   3. The client identifies the items to be reinspected before the appointment.
   4. The client or their representative confirms that repairs are complete and provides permission and access to inspect them.
   5. The reinspection takes place within 60 calendar days of the original inspection.

   This is a limited review of the specified repairs, not a complete property inspection or a guarantee of workmanship, code compliance, or future performance. Additional visits or items may incur additional fees.

   The benefit applies only to the original client and property.

4. 4.$100 Next-Home Inspection Credit

   If a client purchases a Residential Home Inspection but does not purchase that property, Palm View offers a $100 credit toward a Residential Home Inspection of another property.

   Requirements:

   1. The original inspection must be paid for.
   2. The client confirms they did not purchase the originally inspected property.
   3. The subsequent inspection occurs within 90 calendar days of the original inspection.
   4. The subsequent property is located within Palm View's service area.

   The credit applies only to the Residential Home Inspection fee, is limited to one credit per original qualifying inspection, and cannot generate another Next-Home Credit. It has no cash value and is not transferable.

5. 5.Military & Surviving Family Discount

   Palm View offers a 10% discount on all inspection and testing services.

   Eligibility: U.S. military veterans, active-duty servicemembers, and surviving spouses, parents, or children of U.S. servicemembers who died while serving, regardless of cause of death.

   Qualifying family relationships include legally recognized adoptive and stepfamily relationships. The discount does not require a combat-related death.

   Verification: Palm View may request one reasonable supporting document establishing military service or surviving-family eligibility. Alternative documentation may be accepted when appropriate. Sensitive personal information should be redacted, and submitted verification documents will be deleted after eligibility is confirmed.

   The discount is calculated on the applicable published service or package price before other discounts or elective credits. Eligibility is subject to the combination rules below.

6. 6.Combining Guarantees and Benefits

   Palm View offers discounts, credits, and guarantees to help clients save money and receive dependable service. Here's how they work together:

   1. One discount or special offer: If you qualify for more than one discount, promotional offer, or inspection credit, we'll apply whichever saves you the most. These savings cannot be combined. Credits or refunds earned under our guarantees are handled separately.
   2. Package pricing: A package price is not a discount. If you qualify for a discount, we'll apply it to the package price.
   3. Our guarantees still apply: If Palm View misses a covered guarantee, you'll receive the promised refund or credit, even if you received a discount or other special offer.
   4. No Cash Value: Discounts and inspection credits cannot be exchanged for cash or exceed the applicable service price.
   5. Additional promotions: Palm View may establish additional, temporary promotional offers. Additional promotions may have their own terms.

7. 7.Example Situations

   Amounts are illustrative.

   • Military discount + next-home credit example: If you qualify for a $60 military discount and a $100 Next-Home Inspection Credit, we'll apply the $100 credit.
   • Military discount + 48-hour availability credit: Both apply if Palm View misses the guarantee.
   • Next-home credit + ordinary promotion: Don't stack; apply the greater savings.
   • Package price + military discount: The four-point + wind mitigation inspection combination is $175, a $75 savings over the individual inspection prices. The military discount applies to the $175 package price bringing the total package cost down to $157.50.
   • Any permitted discount + same-day report refund: Both apply if Palm View misses the guarantee.
   • Any permitted discount + 48-hour availability credit: Both apply if Palm View misses the guarantee.
