Service questions
What's the difference between a home inspection and an insurance inspection?
A home inspection is a broad evaluation of the whole home to support your buying or ownership decisions. Insurance inspections — four-point and wind mitigation — are narrow forms that document specific details an insurer needs. See four-point vs. wind mitigation.
Can I combine inspections in one visit?
Yes. Four-point and wind mitigation inspections can be added to a home inspection at a reduced add-on price, and a WDO inspection can be added to a residential home inspection.
Which inspection do I need for a new home?
Ideally three: pre-drywall during construction, a final inspection before closing, and an 11-month warranty inspection before the first-year warranty ends. Read final vs. 11-month inspections.
